Job Description
Up to 4 openings on multiple shifts immediately available.
Compensation: Up to $43/hour plus overtime (10 hours weekly is available) 11 paid holidays, multiple weeks PTO, and full healthcare benefits.
Location: Kent, WA and Merritt Island, Florida. These positions are 100% onsite at a space rocket facilities with no possibility of remote or work-from-home.
Positions are 6-24 month contract-to-hire opportunities with high possibility to convert to FTE.

Responsibilities:
- Inspect material per inspection plan such as dimensions, part marking and traceability.
- Review all supplied documentation for hardware acceptance per engineering requirements.
- Perform review of first articles and conduct receiving inspections.
- Provide feedback to engineers and buyers with dimensional data.
- Document, track, and complete discrepancy reports.
- Provide inspection time estimates.
- Assist with maintaining and tracking all inspection equipment calibrations.
- Contribute to process improvements.
- Maintain configuration control on files and job records.
- Safely work within an industrial environment.
Qualifications:
- Ability to support B shift occasionally- 3:00 pm-1:30 am
- A minimum of 7 years experience in receiving or dimensional inspection of aerospace components.
- Intermediate/ Expert GD&T comprehension per ASME Y14.5M-1994 standard.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Fluent in the use of precision hand tools, gages, optical comparator, and surface plate work.
- Ability to select the correct tool for the inspection task
- Familiar with the use of personal computers.
- Self-motivation and ability to prioritize projects to meet completion dates
- Ability to earn trust, maintain positive and professional relationships, and strengthen our culture of inclusion
