A growing agricultural equipment manufacturer is looking for a motivated and results-driven Sales Manager to lead a team and drive success across existing dealer channels while identifying new growth opportunities. This role requires a strategic thinker with strong leadership abilities to oversee sales operations and expand market reach. Compensation: $130,000 to $170,000 salary (negotiable) plus bonus




Location: Yakima, WA. This positions is onsite 4-5 days a week with no opportunity for remote or work-from-home work. Candidates must be willing to travel nationally 25% of each month.

Position Summary



  • Lead and mentor a 7-10 person sales team, fostering a culture of success and aligning efforts with organizational objectives.
  • Develop and refine sales strategies to enhance customer engagement and expand market share.
  • Recruit, train, and manage sales team members, ensuring they have the tools and knowledge to excel.
  • Organize and oversee sales territories and team schedules to optimize efficiency.
  • Monitor individual and team performance, providing constructive feedback and coaching for continuous improvement.
  • Conduct performance evaluations in a timely and effective manner.
  • Build and maintain strong customer relationships to drive satisfaction and long-term loyalty.
  • Analyze sales data to identify trends, assess areas for improvement, and implement strategic growth initiatives.
  • Collaborate with leadership to develop and refine sales strategies.
  • Serve as the primary liaison between the sales team and other departments, ensuring clear communication and effective collaboration.
  • Travel domestically and internationally as needed.




Qualifications:



  • Minimum of 7 years of experience in sales, marketing, and management.
  • Prior experience in OEM and agricultural industries preferred.
  • Proven leadership skills with the ability to manage both local and remote sales teams while fostering accountability and ownership.
  • Proficiency with CRM systems and sales productivity tools.
  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with an emphasis on relationship-building.
  • Ability to set clear goals, track progress, and measure performance to ensure objectives are met.
  • Strong time management, self-discipline, and ability to delegate effectively.







Education & Experience:



  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Business Administration, or a related field preferred (Equivalent sales leadership experience considered in place of formal education)
