A new Account Executive position has opened due to company growth. Rainier Recruiting has partnered with a female CEO-led marketing product and service company headquartered on the West Coast looking to expand their national reach. Compensation: $80K - $100K base salary (negotiable based on experience) plus commission, with total OTE of $150K - $200K in the first year. Commissions are unrivaled in this field.

Location: New York state area preferable. This role will include working from home and field visits to customers locations. Employees can expect to travel regionally as needed by customers, and visit national trade shows a few times a year.

Key Responsibilities:

·     Hunt, prospect, and cold call. You will lead all aspects of new customer sales interactions

·     Meet or exceed your sales quotas, after a reasonable ramp up time

·     Build a multi-million dollar pipeline through outbound prospecting, qualifying inbound leads, and expanding some of the existing customer relationships you inherit

·     Create sales plans and presentations with milestones and deadlines for each opportunity, and manage each opportunity through to the close of the sale and handoff to Production and Delivery teams

·     Use our current sales playbook and look to add improvements and new “plays” to the playbook

·     Manage your closed accounts after the sale to drive upsell and referral opportunities

·     Participate in sales training meetings

·     Monitor and produce consistent success through KPIs like number of sales calls, number of proposals delivered, number of deals closed, pipeline growth using NetSuite CRM

·     Travel to and participate in industry events


Qualifications and Experience:

Ideally, you have experience selling branded merchandise, promotional product, b2b swag, or marketing services. While this experience is not specifically required, experience selling a combination of products AND services in a B2B environment, along with the below, will also quality:

·     Experience selling to marketing department decision makers

·     A proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales quotas

·     Experience or strong desire to work in a small business environment
