Compensation:

$250,000 salary + bonus + equity (negotiable)




Location:

Strong preference for San Francisco candidates who are willing to work hybrid; however, remote candidates in California will be considered with some onsite flexibility required for quarterly meetings at San Francisco HQ.

Position Overview: 

We're seeking a Staff Engineer to shape our backend infrastructure and develop crypto-native features for our app.
  • Our tech stack includes Typescript trpc and AWS App Runner.
  • We're a lean, international team with several members based in San Francisco. Preferably, you are in the San Francisco Bay Area or a major American city.
  • As our sixth engineer, you'll join a highly technical team of eight. You'll work closely with our existing engineering team, which consists of frontend engineers (React Native) and fellow backend engineers.

 

Qualifications:
  • 7+ years of experience in building scalable, distributed systems end-to-end.
  • You're passionate about making the on-chain world more accessible — but actual crypto experience is not required.
  • You possess positive energy, are ambitious, bias towards low-effort-high-impact projects, and communicate clearly.
  • We are very active in the Farcaster community and hope you will be too!
