This client is seeking a skilled Stone Fabricator and Installer to join their team. This role is ideal for someone with a strong background in precision stonework, capable of working with granite, marble, quartz, and other natural and engineered materials to meet the demanding standards of luxury yacht interiors.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Fabricate and install countertops, wall panels, flooring, and custom stone features for luxury marine interiors
  • Read and interpret technical drawings and templates for precision layout and fabrication
  • Use a variety of hand and power tools to cut, polish, and install stone materials
  • Work collaboratively with designers, project managers, and other trades to ensure quality and accuracy
  • Conduct on-site fitting and adjustments during the installation phase aboard vessels
  • Maintain a clean and safe work environment, including handling stone slabs and equipment properly
  • Ensure all work meets the company’s high standards for craftsmanship and detail
  • Stand/walk for 8+ hours per day
  • Frequent use of stairs, ramps, ladders and stools
  • Lift and carry up to 50 lbs on a regular basis
  • Bend, kneel and crawl on a regular basis
  • Frequent and repetitive arm and hand motions, handling, grasping, etc
  • Frequent reaching below knees, knees to shoulders and above shoulders
  • Wear necessary personal protection equipment including respiratory protection equipment, safety glasses/goggles, rubber gloves, coveralls, hearing protection, fall protection, etc.

Requirements:
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in stone fabrication and installation
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Ability to lift and move heavy materials and perform physically demanding tasks for extended periods
  • Strong attention to detail and craftsmanship
  • Ability to work in a team environment and communicate effectively

·      Familiarity with marine or luxury construction environments is a plus, but not 

Location: Seattle, WA. Employees must be able to come onsite daily.

Eric first learned how to find top-quality candidates and conduct effective interviews while still in school in 2008. In all his jobs since, he used that knowledge to help the company hire. In 2018, Eric became a full-time recruiter, mainly working on roles in the industrial and skilled trades industries. Since then, he has hired candidates from all industry sectors and walks of life.

Eric joined Rainier Recruiting in 2021, working from his home in the beautiful Willamette Valley in Oregon.
