This is an established start-up with a product market-fit in the Enterprise sector (logos include: Microsoft, Intuit, PwC, SAP, ADP and many more). They are looking for their next Director of Demand Generation to lead their new business pipeline generation efforts with enterprise organizations. This company has hired multiple successful employees already from Rainier Recruiting who have reported that it is a very good company to work for. Compensation:

$160 - $180k base + bonus and equity, negotiable




Location:

Strong preference for Seattle; however, remote candidates will be considered with some onsite flexibility required for quarterly meetings at HQ and occasional travel to client sites (approximately 10-20%)

Responsibilities:
  • Translate business goals and objectives into actionable quarterly and annual targets and plans.
  • Develop comprehensive persona- and use-case-focused playbooks and content that align with the SaaS buying journey.
  • Implement engaging and scalable ABM campaigns to effectively reach target enterprise accounts and their buying committees.
  • Lead demand generation initiatives for enterprise markets across various channels, including digital marketing, SEM/SEO, content marketing, events, website management, sponsorships, and partnerships, to generate qualified leads, build pipeline, and drive revenue.
  • Collaborate with internal and external experts to produce valuable and shareable content that resonates with our ideal customers.
  • Expand and promote the peer reviews program, along with creating proof points and customer testimonials that showcase competitive advantages.
  • Leverage data-driven insights to optimize campaigns, enhance conversion rates, maximize ROI, and continually improve marketing performance.
  • Oversee marketing efforts related to key product announcements and releases.
  • Stay informed on best practices in ABM, demand generation, and data compliance regulations, and conduct market research to stay updated on industry trends and competitors' marketing strategies.
  • Work cross-functionally to foster alignment and build strong relationships within the marketing team and with sales, product, and customer success teams.
  • Serve as a subject matter expert and spokesperson on the company's products, technology, and value proposition, presenting regularly to internal teams, customers, and at industry conferences.




 

Qualifications:
  • Over 8 years of experience in B2B demand generation and growth marketing, with at least 5 years of leading high-performing teams.
  • Proven track record of developing and executing successful growth marketing campaigns.
  • Expertise in ABM, with demonstrable examples of enterprise programs.
  • Proficient in driving digitally based marketing initiatives, including SEM/SEO, ABM, email nurturing, webinars, and events.
  • Strategic thinker with a strong bias for execution, adept at translating business needs into digital strategies and driving those strategies across cross-functional teams.
  • Excellent presentation and communication skills, with a proven ability to gain buy-in for ideas and plans.
  • Exceptional analytical skills with a data-driven mindset.
  • Superior project management skills and the confidence to thrive in a dynamic environment.
  • Ability to work independently, make decisions amid ambiguity, and iterate quickly.
  • Working knowledge of modern martech and ABM tools, such as Salesforce, Marketo, ZoomInfo, Demandbase, Outreach, Power BI, Gong, etc.
  • Experience leading a BDR/SDR team and managing an outbound pipeline is preferred but not required.
  • Bachelor's degree required; MBA or another advanced degree is a plus.
