The Director of eCommerce will lead the strategy for a direct-to-consumer (DTC) website and drive business growth. As a key member of the sales and marketing team, you’ll play a pivotal role in shaping the website strategy to support high-growth initiatives. Compensation & Benefits:
  • Annual salary: $140,000–$150,000 plus 30+ percent bonus (negotiable).

Location: Bellevue, WA. This position is onsite Mon-Thurs with an option to work-from-home on Fridays.




CORE RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Develop and manage digital marketing strategies to increase brand visibility, drive site traffic, and boost sales.
  • Work with product, design, and sales teams to create integrated marketing campaigns that align with overall business goals.
  • Oversee all aspects of digital marketing campaigns, including email marketing, website optimization, SEO/SEM, and paid media.
  • Track and analyze campaign performance, create regular reports, and adjust strategies to optimize performance and meet key performance indicators (KPIs).
  • Manage relationships with external agencies, providing guidance and feedback to ensure goals are met.
  • Stay informed about industry trends and new technologies, applying insights to improve marketing strategies.
  • Manage the digital marketing budget, ensuring cost efficiency and maximizing return on investment (ROI).




SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field (Master’s degree preferred).
  • At least 5 years of experience in digital marketing.
  • Proven success in developing and executing multi-channel digital marketing campaigns (social media, email, website, SEO/SEM, paid ads).
  • Strong analytical skills with experience using data to drive decision-making and improve campaign performance.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to coach and develop team members.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and handle shifting priorities.
  • Experience with marketing automation tools (e.g., Hubspot, Marketo) and web analytics platforms (e.g., Google Analytics, Shopify).
  • Proven ability to create and manage marketing budgets and allocate resources effectively.

  • Return on Ad Spend (ROAS) and Customer Acquisition Cost (CAC)
  • Retention rates
  • Customer Lifetime Value (CLV)
  • Repeat purchase rates




QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS:
  • Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, or a similar field.
  • 8+ years of experience in CPG and DTC sales or marketing.
  • Strong writing, editing, and proofreading skills.
  • Excellent research, organizational, and time management abilities.
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, including report presentation.

Eric first learned how to find top-quality candidates and conduct effective interviews while still in school in 2008. In all his jobs since, he used that knowledge to help the company hire. In 2018, Eric became a full-time recruiter, mainly working on roles in the industrial and skilled trades industries. Since then, he has hired candidates from all industry sectors and walks of life.

Eric joined Rainier Recruiting in 2021, working from his home in the beautiful Willamette Valley in Oregon. Outside work, Eric enjoys playing tabletop games and spending time with his wife and two boys. Eric is one of the few Rainier Recruiting employees with a cat rather than a dog.
