Compensation: $135k-$200k base salary (negotiable based on experience)

 

Location: This position is onsite in Alexandria, Lynchburg, Richmond, VA; Raleigh, NC; and Atlanta, GA.

Key Responsibilities: 
  • Assume a pivotal technical leadership role within project teams, ensuring the delivery of comprehensive engineering design solutions to a diverse clientele, spanning federal agencies, commercial firms, and educational institutions.
  • Offer engineering guidance and supervision to a team of junior engineers and designers.
  • Provide leadership and mentorship to design team members under your supervision.
  • Assist in construction and commissioning endeavors.
  • Effectively communicate project updates to project managers, design and construction teams, and clients.
  • Ensure the quality and precision of your work, as well as that of design team members under your guidance.

 

Qualifications and Experience: 
  • Over a decade of Electrical Engineering experience
  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering from an ABET accredited institution
  • Registered Professional Engineer in Virginia, or eligibility for reciprocity within three months of starting
  • Field expertise in medium voltage and low voltage electrical distribution systems
  • Proficiency in Revit and AutoCAD
  • Familiarity with system modeling software such as ETAP and SKM
  • Understanding and application of sustainable design principles
  • Eligibility to work in the United States is required
  • Ability to obtain a security clearance if necessary
