Founding GTM Recruiter

Location: New York City (On-site, 5 days/week)

Compensation: $150,000 – $225,000 base + equity

About the Role

This is a founding recruiting hire focused on building out the go-to-market organization. You will own recruiting strategy and execution from day one, partnering closely with the CEO and leadership team.

This role is highly impactful—every hire you make will directly influence the company’s growth trajectory.

What You’ll Do
  • Own full-cycle recruiting across business-critical roles, with an emphasis on sales and customer-facing teams
  • Build and manage top-of-funnel pipeline through proactive outbound sourcing and talent mapping
  • Partner with leadership to define ideal candidate profiles and hiring standards
  • Develop creative strategies to attract high-performing candidates in competitive markets
  • Drive an exceptional candidate experience from initial outreach through offer stage
  • Maintain strong pipeline tracking and reporting within the ATS
  • Continuously refine recruiting processes as the company scales

What We’re Looking For
  • 3–5 years of recruiting experience in high-growth environments or top-tier recruiting firms
  • Strong track record of outbound sourcing and engaging passive talent
  • Experience hiring for go-to-market roles (e.g., Account Executives, Customer Success, etc.)
  • Comfortable operating in fast-paced, ambiguous, early-stage environments
  • Demonstrated ability to identify and attract top-tier talent
  • Highly detail-oriented with strong organizational and process discipline

Preferred Background
  • Experience as an early or first recruiter at a startup
  • Background supporting companies known for high talent density
  • Familiarity with modern recruiting tools and ATS platforms (e.g., Ashby, LinkedIn Recruiter)
  • Experience working closely with founders or executive leadership
