Rainier Recruiting has partnered with a full-service shipyard and large commercial boat builder that specializes in the repair and build of various vessels ranging from 75-250 feet in length. Compensation: $78,000- $130,000 base salary (negotiable)




Location: This role will be fully onsite in Washington.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage the entire project cycle from initial estimation to final delivery to clients, including the warranty period.
  • Thoroughly understand project contracts, conveying crucial details about schedules, milestones, budgets, potential risks, and reward opportunities to relevant team members and across various departments.
  • Proactively identify any changes in project scope, ensuring efficient coordination with Planning, Estimating, and Production teams, as well as incorporating customer feedback to revise and update project plans, timelines, and budgets as needed.
  • Implement and oversee effective Project Management methodologies and tools to streamline project execution.
  • Organize and conduct regular interdisciplinary team meetings, involving internal staff, management, external subcontractors, and client representatives, to ensure clear communication and project alignment.




Qualifications and Experience:
  • Extensive expertise in marine design, engineering, and familiar with manufacturing processes prevalent in marine new construction and service operations.
  • Solid understanding of shipbuilding, maintenance, and modification processes, encompassing various vessel types, their systems, and key components.
  • Adept in managing conflicts, guiding stakeholders towards practical consensus while safeguarding the interests and relationships with critical partners.
  • In-depth knowledge of the latest regulations and standard practices governed by authoritative bodies such as the US Coast Guard, classification societies, and the broader marine industry.
