San Francisco, CA

Posted: 02/16/2026 Industry: Marketing Job Number: 3542209 Pay Rate: 150000/year - 200000/year

Job Description

Location: San Francisco, CA (Hybrid – 3 days/week in office)

Compensation: $150,000–$200,000 base + competitive equity

Employment Type: Full-time

A rapidly scaling, venture-backed healthcare technology company is transforming how patients connect with providers through AI-powered engagement solutions. In just a few short years, the company has supported over 100 million patient interactions, dramatically reduced wait times, and achieved exceptional revenue growth.

Now, they’re building the next major growth engine: a world-class field marketing and events function.

This is a rare opportunity to build a national field marketing program from the ground up, own a multi-million-dollar budget, and directly impact pipeline generation at a high-growth startup. You’ll work closely with executive leadership and Sales to create one of the company’s most strategic revenue channels.

If you’ve built event-driven pipeline engines before and thrive in fast-paced, high-ownership environments, this role offers significant visibility and impact.

The Role

As Head of Events & Field Marketing, you will design, launch, and scale a national field marketing strategy aligned to revenue goals. This is the company’s first dedicated field marketing leadership hire — meaning you’ll establish the foundation, processes, team structure, and playbook from scratch.

You’ll oversee 100+ events annually, hire and lead a distributed regional team, and serve as a strategic partner to Sales to drive measurable pipeline growth.

What You’ll Do
  • Develop and operationalize a scalable field marketing strategy aligned with sales territories and revenue targets
  • Own end-to-end execution of 100+ annual events (trade shows, executive dinners, regional activations, etc.)
  • Design differentiated, high-impact event experiences tailored to executive audiences
  • Manage a multi-million-dollar events budget with disciplined vendor strategy, cost controls, and ROI reporting
  • Build reporting frameworks to clearly measure sourced vs. influenced pipeline and cost per opportunity
  • Partner closely with Sales, Business Development, and Customer teams to maximize pre-event outreach and post-event follow-up
  • Hire, mentor, and lead a distributed team of regional field marketers
  • Establish best practices, repeatable playbooks, and scalable systems

What We’re Looking For

Experience
  • 6–10 years of experience in B2B SaaS field marketing and events, ideally within high-growth startups
  • Proven experience building or rebuilding field marketing programs from zero to one
  • Track record of managing 50+ events annually with clear pipeline impact
  • Experience hiring and managing distributed teams
  • Strong cross-functional partnership with Sales leadership

Metrics-Driven Mindset
  • Able to articulate specific pipeline results generated from events (e.g., multi-million-dollar sourced pipeline per quarter)
  • Deep fluency in pipeline metrics (sourced vs. influenced revenue, cost per opportunity, ROI tracking)
  • Experience managing seven-figure event budgets with measurable return

Leadership & Soft Skills
  • Executive presence and strong stakeholder management
  • True partnership mentality with Sales
  • Highly organized, strategic, and execution-oriented
  • Comfortable operating in ambiguity and building structure from scratch

What Makes This Role Compelling
  • Build a national field marketing engine from the ground up
  • Own a multi-million-dollar budget and a top revenue-driving channel
  • Work directly with executive leadership
  • Join a company with exceptional growth momentum
  • Competitive base salary and meaningful equity

Additional Details
  • Hybrid role: 3 days per week in-office in downtown San Francisco
  • Visa transfers supported (sponsorship not available)
  • Hiring immediately
