Rainier Recruiting is partnering with a SaaS startup in SF looking for AEs. A venture-backed SaaS company based in San Francisco is seeking experienced Account Executives to join a fast-growing sales team. This is an opportunity for a driven closer who can execute against an active pipeline of mid-market and enterprise opportunities while also contributing to the development of repeatable sales processes and playbooks that support continued rapid growth.

This role requires individuals who are comfortable operating in a high-velocity environment—people who are willing to put in the work, move quickly, and think creatively about how to improve efficiency, structure, and overall go-to-market execution. The ideal candidate brings both hustle and strategic thinking, helping the organization scale revenue while refining how deals are sourced, managed, and closed.




You will be responsible for full-cycle sales at a growth-stage company building a SaaS platform that enables businesses to access specialized recruiting support for technical, AI/ML, and go-to-market roles.




Compensation

Base salary range of $100K–$140K with total on-target earnings between $200K–$280K, plus meaningful equity participation.




Location

On-site role based in San Francisco.




What You’ll Bring
  • 2+ years of experience selling software or services to technology-focused companies in a high-growth environment
  • 2+ years of experience closing net-new business as an Account Executive
  • Strong outbound prospecting background (e.g., prior time in a BDR or similar role)
  • Demonstrated history of exceeding quota and strong sales performance (e.g., top-performer recognition, rapid progression)
  • Competitive mindset with motivation driven by measurable results and team performance
  • A growth-oriented mentality with the ability to adapt, learn quickly, and continuously improve

Eric first learned how to find top-quality candidates and conduct effective interviews while still in school in 2008. In all his jobs since, he used that knowledge to help the company hire. In 2018, Eric became a full-time recruiter, mainly working on roles in the industrial and skilled trades industries. Since then, he has hired candidates from all industry sectors and walks of life.

Eric joined Rainier Recruiting in 2021, working from his home in the beautiful Willamette Valley in Oregon. Outside work, Eric enjoys playing tabletop games and spending time with his wife and two boys. Eric is one of the few Rainier Recruiting employees with a cat rather than a dog. His cat, Pirate, enjoys sitting on the keyboard while Eric tries to write emails. Pirate is especially fond of the letter rrrr.
