Location: Anchorage, AK

Compensation: $26–$28/hour

Position Overview

The Warehouse Coordinator is responsible for managing the day-to-day flow of materials, equipment, and documentation within a warehouse environment. This role plays a critical part in ensuring accurate inventory, timely shipments, and seamless coordination between internal teams and external partners.

Key Responsibilities
  • Maintain a safe, clean, and organized warehouse environment
  • Execute core warehouse functions including receiving, shipping, stocking, staging, and order fulfillment
  • Load and unload incoming and outgoing shipments safely and efficiently
  • Coordinate with freight carriers to schedule pickups and deliveries
  • Prepare and manage shipping documentation such as bills of lading and order records
  • Track inventory levels and ensure availability of parts and materials for internal teams
  • Support internal departments by staging materials and coordinating movement of equipment
  • Maintain warehouse equipment, including battery charging and general upkeep
  • Assist with customer-related inquiries and help resolve issues professionally
  • Perform occasional local deliveries or pickups as needed
  • Follow proper safety protocols when working around electrical systems (training provided)
  • Contribute to overall operational efficiency and take on additional tasks as needed

Qualifications
  • 3+ years of warehouse experience (non-production environment preferred)
  • Experience operating forklifts or similar equipment (or willingness to be trained)
  • Strong understanding of shipping/receiving processes and inventory control
  • Ability to read and interpret technical documents, manuals, or specifications
  • Solid communication skills and a customer-focused mindset
  • Basic computer skills (Microsoft Office or similar tools)
  • Mechanical aptitude and basic math skills
  • Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and as part of a team

Preferred Experience
  • Familiarity with industrial batteries or power systems
  • Experience working around electrical systems or technical equipment
  • Background in environments requiring high attention to detail and safety

Physical Requirements
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs independently and heavier items with assistance
  • Frequent standing, walking, bending, and lifting
  • Ability to work in a warehouse environment with varying temperatures
  • Occasional use of ladders and hand/power tools
