Why Join This Opportunity

This is a rare chance to sit at the heart of San Francisco’s startup and venture ecosystem. You’ll work closely with founders, investors, and operators shaping the next generation of technology across AI, infrastructure, robotics, life sciences, and emerging industries.

The role offers daily exposure to top-tier founders and executives, meaningful responsibility from day one, and the opportunity to build a powerful long-term network. If you’re energized by people, events, and fast-moving environments—and see this as a stepping stone into venture capital, startups, or investing—this role provides unmatched access and visibility.

You’ll also play a key role in creating an in-person community experience, hosting curated events and dinners while managing a beautiful, high-profile office space in San Francisco.

About the Role

We’re looking for a highly organized, proactive, and socially confident Executive Assistant / Office Manager to serve as the operational backbone of our San Francisco office.

This role is well-suited for:
  • Recent graduates from top academic institutions who are ambitious and deeply interested in startups and venture, or
  • Candidates with 2+ years of experience in executive support, office management, events, or venture-backed environments.

You’ll manage office operations, support senior leadership during their time in SF, and execute high-touch events for founders and investors—often serving as the first point of contact for visitors and partners.

What You’ll Do
  • Plan and execute weekly high-touch events such as founder dinners, executive roundtables, and small gatherings that strengthen the firm’s network
  • Manage all event logistics including invitations, coordination, on-site execution, and relationship-building during events
  • Oversee day-to-day operations of the San Francisco office, ensuring the space is polished, stocked, and always guest-ready
  • Manage vendors, supplies, and building communications
  • Provide executive assistance to senior leadership while they are in San Francisco, including calendar management and meeting logistics
  • Support additional team members with scheduling and meeting preparation
  • Act as the main point of contact for office visitors, founders, and partners
  • Ensure a seamless, welcoming, and high-quality in-person experience for everyone who enters the office

Ideal Background

Experience
  • 0–2+ years in office management, executive assistance, events, or similar roles
  • Experience planning and hosting events, particularly for founders, executives, or senior stakeholders
  • Prior exposure to startups, venture capital, or fast-paced professional environments is a plus

Education
  • Bachelor’s degree required
  • Graduates from highly selective universities preferred

Skills & Traits
  • Highly organized, detail-oriented, and proactive
  • Outgoing, personable, and comfortable building relationships
  • Strong interest in startups, venture capital, and technology
  • Ambitious with a clear sense of career direction
  • Able to juggle multiple priorities while maintaining polish and professionalism

Work Environment
  • Fully on-site role based in San Francisco
  • Collaborative, high-energy office with frequent founder and investor interaction
  • Small, close-knit team with significant visibility and responsibility
