Paint & Coatings Technician (multiple openings)

Job Description


WHAT YOU’LL DO




Our Paint & Coating Technicians prepare metal and fiberglass surfaces and apply marine coatings. Your typical work process will include coating and shaping hulls with surfacing filler, sanding these surfaces to the correct shape, and applying marine coatings. Projects will include yacht hulls, superstructures and various other marine components.




WHAT YOU NEED TO SUCCEED




To succeed, you will be eager to grow and learn, have a great attitude, and be able to pay close attention to detail.
  • Prior experience with automotive, marine, aerospace, or residential prep work or drywalling is ideal.
  • Must have experience using essential tools such as tape measure and level.
  • Must be able to wear a respirator for prolonged periods.
  • Must be comfortable working from lifts or on scaffolding.

We will consider a wide range of experience and adjust the compensation and duties accordingly.

We are willing to train candidates with limited experience.
