Compensation: $32-$38/hour (negotiable)

 

Location: This position is onsite in Seattle, WA.

Key Responsibilities: 
  • Handle all aspects of the accounts payable process, including responding to external vendors and internal managers, processing invoices for payment, recording sales tax, and assisting with bank reconciliations.
  • Conduct research to provide accurate and timely solutions to internal clients and vendors across multiple locations.
  • Ensure the accuracy of vendor invoices and validate the use of correct general ledger account codes.
  • Execute routine vendor payments and match checks with backup for review by the financial manager.
  • Maintain accurate files and records of paid and unpaid invoices, including cleared payment inquiries and check voiding, in accordance with company standards.
  • Record and manage daily cash receipts and transfers from various customers.
  • Apply and reconcile cash receipts for truck dealers in the Accounts Receivable sub-ledger (SAP) system.
  • Research and provide supporting documentation for cash transactions to external and internal auditors and other interested parties.
  • Analyze and reconcile various GL accounts, including bank accounts, intercompany accounts, and other balance sheet accounts.
  • Perform month-end close duties, including preparing general journals.

 

Qualifications and Experience: 
  • Minimum of 4 years of experience in accounts payable/accounts receivable, preferably in a high-volume environment.
  • Intermediate to advanced skills in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly MS Excel.
  • Strong analytical and computer skills, including intermediate/advanced knowledge of Microsoft products such as Access, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • 2 years of experience in soft collections.
  • Experience with Sage software is a plus.
