A well-established global technology staffing firm is expanding into the Charlotte, NC, market and is seeking a dynamic Sales Director to establish and grow its presence. This is an exciting opportunity for a strategic sales professional to spearhead business development efforts, acquire new clients, and build a high-performing team specializing in IT staffing solutions.

With decades of experience delivering top-tier tech talent, our company operates across multiple countries, providing specialized recruitment services in areas such as cloud computing, cybersecurity, artificial intelligence, software development, and digital transformation. We leverage data-driven insights, automation, and a commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion to optimize hiring strategies.

The ideal candidate will have 8-10+ years of experience in IT staffing sales, a history of securing new business, and a passion for leading market expansion efforts.

Compensation: $120,000-$150,000 base salary plus bonuses and commission from your region's growth. Bonuses and commissions are uncapped.







Location: Hybrid work-from-home and onsite customer visits. Candidates must live in Charlotte, NC area.







Key Responsibilities:

Phase 1: Business Development & Market Expansion
  • Establish a strong foothold in the Charlotte tech sector by identifying and acquiring new clients in industries such as financial services, banking, cybersecurity, insurance, and SaaS.
  • Develop relationships with IT decision-makers, including CIOs, CTOs, VPs of Engineering, Cloud Architects, and Cybersecurity Leaders, offering consultative recruitment solutions.
  • Drive outbound sales efforts through prospecting, networking, and cold calling to build a pipeline of IT staffing opportunities, including contract, contract-to-hire, and direct-hire placements.
  • Collaborate with recruiting teams to ensure high-quality tech talent is sourced, vetted, and placed efficiently.
  • Manage the full sales lifecycle, from lead generation to closing deals, setting the foundation for future growth.

Phase 2: Leadership & Market Growth
  • Transition into a leadership role by hiring, mentoring, and managing a team of sales professionals and IT recruiters.
  • Develop and implement go-to-market strategies to position the company as a leading IT staffing provider in Charlotte.
  • Stay informed on market trends, salary benchmarks, and emerging technologies to guide client hiring strategies.
  • Represent the company at tech conferences, industry summits, and networking events to enhance brand recognition.
  • Cultivate a high-performance sales culture, driving revenue growth and long-term market success.

Qualifications & Experience:
  • 10+ years of experience in IT staffing sales, with a strong track record of business development and client acquisition.
  • Expertise in placing high-demand tech talent, including Cloud (AWS, Azure, GCP), Cybersecurity, Data Science, Software Engineering, and DevOps.
  • Established relationships within the Charlotte tech community, with a deep understanding of hiring challenges in enterprise IT, cybersecurity, financial services, and SaaS sectors.
  • Ability to engage IT executives and hiring teams at a strategic level.
  • Strong consultative sales and negotiation skills, with experience in contract, contract-to-hire, and direct-hire staffing.
  • Entrepreneurial mindset with the drive to build and scale a new market.
  • Proficiency with CRM tools (Salesforce, Bullhorn) and sales engagement platforms.
  • Willingness to travel locally and regionally for client meetings and industry events.
