Business Development Executive, Staffing & Managed Services

Compensation: $90,000-$120,000 base + commission (uncapped, negotiable)

Location: Remote (Portland, OR or Seattle, WA / San Francisco, CA preferred)

Travel: Up to 25%

Employment Type: Full-Time

About the Role

Our client, a growing staffing and workforce solutions provider, is looking for a Business Development Executive to drive new business growth across its Staffing, SOW, and Managed Services lines. This is a 100% hunting role. There is no account management or recruiting responsibility attached to this position; your sole focus is identifying, developing, and closing new logo opportunities.

This role suits someone who has built a career on new business development within staffing or workforce solutions, and who is energized by prospecting and closing rather than managing existing accounts.

What You'll Do
  • Own the full new business sales cycle: prospecting, qualifying, pitching, and closing new clients for Staffing, SOW, and Managed Services offerings.
  • Build and maintain a pipeline of net-new opportunities within target markets.
  • Identify and engage decision-makers at prospective client organizations.
  • Develop and execute go-to-market strategies to expand the client base in your territory.
  • Represent the company at client meetings and industry events as needed.
  • Consistently meet or exceed new business revenue targets.

What We're Looking For
  • 6 to 8 years of experience in Staffing, SOW, or Managed Services, with a strong track record in new business development.
  • Strong, stable employment history.
  • IT or Engineering industry background preferred.
  • Demonstrated success hunting and closing new logos, not managing or growing existing accounts.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
  • Self-starter who can work independently in a remote environment.
