Compensation: $83k to $123k (negotiable, depending on experience




Location: on site in Redmond, WA

Key Responsibilities:
  • Evaluate and develop manufacturing processes by:
  • Examining drawings provided by Engineering to verify buildability before Production begins
  • Designing and developing manufacturing tools to assist and improve production processes
  • Creating step by step Assembly Test Instructions with pictorial SolidWorks images
  • Completing, creating and/or submitting customer PPAP support/documentation
  • PFMEA creation and monitoring
  • Provide guidance for manufacturing planning methods used for fabrication
  • Resolve technical issues using solutions that involve re-use of existing company designs (as applicable) and new techniques, technologies, or concepts as needed.
  • Provide manufacturing technical leadership and guidance to staff working on projects
  • Identify and implement process improvements.
  • Responsible for processing jobs through engineering and support the manufacturing of new parts through production
  • Understand common machine shop processes and capabilities
  • Confer with equipment vendors
  • Facilitate R&D activity between Engineering and Manufacturing
  • Assigned project production planning and layout, organizational set up, progress reporting, and departmental coordination
  • Provide technical oversight to a broad range of projects
  • Manufacturing capacity and capabilities planning
  • Assure product and process quality by designing test methods; testing finished product and process capabilities
  • Establishing standards
  • Confirming manufacturing processes
  • Maintain compliance with government regulations
  • Complete design and development projects by training and guiding technicians
  • Contribute to team effort by accomplishing objectives laid out through site-wide initiatives
  • Other tasks/duties/responsibilities as assigned




Qualifications and Experience:
  • Associate’s degree in an engineering field with 5+ years of on-the-job aerospace experience.
  • Manufacturing background with knowledge of GD&T and tolerance stack-ups.
  • Ability to handle projects of various complexities
  • Leadership, communication, and supervision experience
  • Experience developing manufacturing methods and procedures and manufacturing quality
  • Experience with product development
  • Ability to present technical information
  • Candidates must be legally authorized to work in the United States without company sponsorship. Applicants will be required to provide proof of U.S. Citizenship, U.S. Permanent Residence, or U.S. Immigration Status in order to meet the minimum qualifications for ITAR requirements
