We’re looking for a mid-level Software Engineer to take ownership of our web platform and help drive measurable growth through technical excellence.

This role sits at the intersection of engineering, marketing, and revenue. You’ll serve as the technical steward of our web presence—building a high-performance WordPress platform while helping evolve our frontend stack toward modern frameworks.

If you enjoy solving performance challenges, thinking deeply about SEO and discoverability, and building systems that directly influence conversion, this is a high-impact opportunity.

What You’ll Own

Growth-Centric Web Development
  • Build and maintain a fast, scalable WordPress platform optimized for organic visibility
  • Implement structured data, schema markup, and advanced on-site SEO strategies
  • Improve site speed and Core Web Vitals performance
  • Manage large-scale sitemaps, crawlability, and indexation strategy

AI & Search Optimization
  • Develop infrastructure that supports next-generation search discoverability
  • Implement semantic content structures and structured data frameworks that enhance visibility in AI-driven search environments
  • Continuously refine the site’s authority and citation-readiness

Marketing Enablement
  • Create flexible WordPress components and publishing workflows
  • Enable non-technical teams to launch high-converting landing pages independently
  • Reduce reliance on engineering for day-to-day content updates

Modern Frontend Development
  • Maintain and extend the current WordPress ecosystem
  • Contribute to new initiatives built in Next.js with React and TypeScript
  • Ensure seamless data exchange between systems using REST APIs or GraphQL
  • Uphold strong engineering standards across deployments, environments, and CI/CD

What We’re Looking For

Experience
  • 3+ years of professional experience in a product-focused engineering environment
  • Strong background in web technologies and performance optimization

Technical Expertise
  • Advanced WordPress knowledge (core customization, Block Editor/Gutenberg, API integrations)
  • Proficiency in React and TypeScript
  • Experience working with or building in Next.js
  • Deep understanding of technical SEO principles, including structured data and site architecture
  • Familiarity with Git-based workflows, containerized development, and performance monitoring tools

Mindset
  • Growth-oriented and performance-driven
  • Analytical thinker who understands how technical decisions impact user behavior
  • Comfortable collaborating cross-functionally with marketing and product teams
  • Interested in leveraging AI tools to improve development speed and quality

Why This Role Is Compelling
  • Direct impact on acquisition and conversion performance
  • High ownership over a business-critical platform
  • Opportunity to shape the future frontend architecture
  • Competitive compensation and strong growth trajectory
