Compensation: $200,000 - $300,000 base salary (negotiable) plus equity




Location: Position can be located anywhere in the United States, with travel to Manhattan, New York for various meetings.




Overview:

We are looking for a seasoned Senior Engineer and Team Lead with extensive experience in software development and leadership. The ideal candidate will bring 10-15 years of development experience, including a minimum of 3 years in a leadership capacity. You will be pivotal in steering a skilled team, defining our technology stack, and driving the creation of cutting-edge solutions. Proficiency in Java, TypeScript, and AWS is crucial for delivering high-quality software, and familiarity with crypto and blockchain technologies will be a notable advantage.




Key Responsibilities:
  • Leadership: Manage and mentor a small team of developers, cultivating a collaborative and high-achieving environment. Offer technical guidance, conduct code reviews, and support the professional growth of team members.
  • Technical Expertise: Design, develop, and maintain scalable and resilient software solutions using Java, TypeScript, and AWS. Ensure compliance with best practices and coding standards.
  • Project Management: Supervise the planning, execution, and delivery of projects. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align with project objectives and timelines.
  • Innovation: Keep up with emerging technologies and industry trends, particularly in the crypto and blockchain sectors. Spot opportunities for innovation and lead the adoption of new technologies in our product development.
  • Collaboration: Partner with product managers, designers, and other stakeholders to establish technical requirements and deliver solutions that meet user needs.
  • Problem Solving: Address and resolve complex technical challenges. Provide effective solutions to obstacles encountered throughout the development process.




Qualifications:
  • Experience: 10-15 years in software development with strong expertise in Java, TypeScript, and AWS. At least 3 years of experience in a leadership or team lead role, managing a small development team.
  • Technical Skills: Advanced proficiency in Java and TypeScript, with a deep understanding of AWS services and architecture. Experience with crypto and blockchain technologies is highly desirable.
