Compensation: $100K - $150K base salary + bonus and additional variable compensation (negotiable)


Location: This position is fully onsite in New York, New York.

Key Responsibilities: 
  • Collaborate with the Vice President of Sales to develop strategies for meeting or exceeding quarterly sales targets each season, focusing on the right mix of products and leveraging event opportunities.
  • Drive sales of seasonal collections by maintaining a strong presence in the showroom, proactively suggesting a balanced mix of fashion-forward and CORE/Carryover styles to accounts.
  • Guide the selection of category assortments by evaluating product performance, customer insights, market trends, competitive dynamics, and regional preferences, and communicate these insights to the merchandising team.
  • Coordinate with the Vice President of Sales and the Chief Financial Officer to confirm the shipping terms and business criteria for new accounts, ensuring they are integrated smoothly and effectively.
  • Guarantee that all orders are entered correctly and confirmations are sent to accounts promptly, maintaining accuracy and efficiency in order processing.


Qualifications and Experience: 
  • Essential to have established direct relationships with major and top-tier specialty retail accounts both in Canada and internationally.
  • A minimum of 10 years' experience in wholesale and/or retail apparel sales is required, with a background in buying, retail, or sales management.
  • Exceptional skills in interpersonal communication and presentation.
  • In-depth knowledge and understanding of the women's contemporary fashion market.
  • Proficient in retail analysis and computer applications relevant to the industry.
