Compensation: $80k - $130k base salary (negotiable) + bonus

 

Location: This position is onsite in Madison, WI.

Key Responsibilities: 
  • Develop electrical system designs and ensure compliance with relevant code requirements for designated project segments, covering power, lighting, instrumentation, and controls.
  • Research available commercial equipment options and define equipment requirements according to project specifications and available technological solutions.
  • Estimate project costs and continuously monitor expenditures across all design stages.
  • Collaborate with other disciplines including process, HVAC, mechanical, administrative, and equipment suppliers to align designs and schedules effectively.
  • Perform regular site assessments and fulfill additional contractual service obligations as outlined in the agreement.

 

Qualifications and Experience: 
  • Minimum of 5 years' experience in electrical power and/or SCADA design and construction.
  • Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering or equivalent training.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office software, AutoCAD MEP, and Revit.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with clients, contractors, regulatory agencies, and internal teams.
  • Possession of a current Wisconsin PE or Designer of Engineering Systems license, or eligibility to obtain one within 6 months.
