Rainier Recruiting has partnered with a international IT staffing and IT services company to find their next successful West Coast Sales Director. Compensation: $100K - $115K base salary (negotiable based on experience) plus commission, with total OTE of $150K - $200K in the first year. Commissions are uncapped.




Location: Seattle, WA. This role will include a combination of home and office work, as well as field visits to customers locations along the west coast. Employees can expect to travel regionally as needed by customers, and visit national trade shows a few times a year. The hired employee must live in the greater Seattle area. Relocation assistance is not available.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Identify and engage with potential clients to generate new business opportunities.
  • Execute existing playbook sales strategies that align with customer needs.
  • Maintain and report on your healthy sales pipeline through effective lead generation, research, and networking.
  • Understand client needs comprehensively, articulate clearly your value proposition, and tailor solutions to meet those needs.
  • Negotiate and assist finalizing deals, ensuring win-win outcomes for all parties.
  • Build and sustain long-term client relationships to foster repeat business and partnerships.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure successful project delivery and client satisfaction.
  • Stay informed about market trends and competitors to identify opportunities and threats.
  • Represent our team at industry events, conferences, and networking functions to increase brand visibility.




 

Qualifications and Experience:

Ideally, you have experience selling IT services and/or staffing solutions to tech customers on the west coast. While this experience is not specifically required, experience selling a combination of services in a B2B environment, along with the below, will also quality:
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field (nice to have, not required)
  • 5 to 7 years of sales experience in sales, with a focus on team leadership and new business development
  • Proven ability to prospect and secure new business
  • Excellent negotiation skills and experience managing complex sales cycles
  • Ability to engage with decision makers at all organizational levels
