Harnessing / Electrical Technician

Client: Blue Origin

Location: North Hollywood, CA

Shift: A Shift (8:00 AM – 5:00 PM) with occasional B Shift (2:00 PM – 10:00 PM, 1–2 times per month)

Pay Rate: Up to $74.65/hr

This role plays a critical part in supporting electrical systems for spacecraft and ground support equipment. You’ll be hands-on with high-reliability hardware in a fast-paced, precision-driven environment.

What You’ll Do
  • Perform electrical assembly, harness fabrication, installation, routing, and integration
  • Prepare wires, cables, and harnesses to engineering specifications
  • Execute precise connector terminations (crimping, pinning, etc.)
  • Route and secure harnesses within complex assemblies and systems
  • Install electrical and electronic hardware components
  • Troubleshoot electrical issues during assembly and integration
  • Conduct continuity checks and basic electrical testing
  • Support prototype, test, and production builds

What We’re Looking For
  • Hands-on experience with electrical harness fabrication, installation, and routing
  • Strong skills in wire prep, crimping, connector termination, and cable management
  • Ability to read and interpret wiring diagrams, schematics, and engineering drawings
  • Experience integrating electrical/electronic hardware into assemblies
  • Proven troubleshooting ability for electrical installation and fit-up issues
  • Familiarity with standard electrical tools and test equipment
  • Experience in manufacturing, assembly, or integration environments
  • Ability to work independently with high attention to detail and quality

Preferred Experience
  • Experience working with vacuum chamber systems
  • Exposure to furnace reactor systems
  • Background supporting aerospace, prototype, or high-reliability hardware environments

Scheduling Requirements
  • Primary schedule: A Shift (8:00 AM – 5:00 PM)
  • Must be open to occasional B Shift coverage (2:00 PM – 10:00 PM, 1–2 times per month)
