<li>Conduct inspections and diagnostic tests to identify worn or damaged parts.</li>

<li>Complete paperwork to accurately record hours worked on each job.</li>
<li>Adhere to a consistent work schedule.</li>

<li>4+ years of relevant experience in maritime or consulting engineering environments.</li>
<li>Bachelorâs degree in marine engineering, mechanical engineering, naval architecture, electrical engineering, or a related field.</li>
<li>Professional Engineer (PE) license, or the ability to obtain one within the first year of employment.</li>
<li>Proficiency in CAD and modeling tools such as AutoCAD, Rhino3D, and SolidWorks, as well as Microsoft Office software.</li>
<li>Strong written and verbal communication skills, technical report writing ability, and effective teamwork and problem-solving capabilities.</li>
<li>Familiarity with relevant regulatory bodies and standards, such as ABS Rules and CFR Title 46.</li>

<li>Construction and installation of shipâs structural parts including sub floors, studded walls, windows, doors, hatches, decking, fiberglass structural Construction and installation of shipâs finish cabinetry, flooring, wall panels, ceiling panels, trim, owner furnished equipment, etc.&nbsp;</li>
<li>Set up and operate variety of stationary woodworking machines including table saws, band saws, edge banders, etc</li>
<li>Operate variety of handheld woodworking tools including routers, saws, staple gun, drills, drivers, etc.</li>
<li>Utilizing construction drawings, specifications, and other material to construct and install parts</li>
<li>Safe operation of equipment and tools including; table saws, band saws, stationary saws, edge bander, routers, air tools, vacuum units</li>
<li>Maintain a safe, clean, and organized work area and ensure that all tools, materials, and flammable chemicals are stored properly</li>
<li>Other duties as assigned</li>
</ul><br><br><br> <br><br><br> <br><strong>What you need to succeed:</strong><br> <br>To succeed, you will be eager to grow and learn, have a great attitude, and be able to pay close attention to detail.<br> <ul>
<li>3+ years as an Carpenter.</li>
<li>Any mixture of residential, commercial and industrial electrical work is acceptable, but high quality of craftsmanship is essential.</li>
<li>Stand/walk for 8+ hours per day</li>
<li>Frequent use of stairs, ramps, ladders and stools</li>
<li>Lift and carry up to 50 lbs on a regular basis</li>
<li>Extended periods of overhead work&nbsp;</li>
<li>Bend, kneel and crawl on a regular basis</li>
<li>Frequent and repetitive arm and hand motions, handling, grasping, etc</li>
<li>Frequent reaching below knees, knees to shoulders and above shoulders</li>
<li>Wear necessary personal protection equipment including respiratory protection equipment, safety glasses/goggles, rubber gloves, coveralls, hearing protection, fall protection, etc.</li>
<li>Clear vision (with or without corrective lenses)</li>
<li>Hearing as needed to recognize alarms</li>
